United Family Medicine is extremely grateful to a generous donor who recently contributed a dozen books to our clinic (books pictured above). These books will be used in our Reach Out and Read Program—an initiative where each child receives a book at their well-child checks. We firmly believe that encouraging children to engage with books from an early age has a significant impact on the rest of their lives, as reading is such a vital part of early childhood development. That’s why the Reach Out and Read Program exists, and it’s also why we are proud to be a part of it here at our clinic.
