United Family Medicine has an immediate opening for a Full Time Physician to work in our Federally Qualified Health Center as a Medical Director and primary care physician. This position will work various day and evening hours until 8:00 pm.
The Medical Director will lead, coordinate and provide clinical oversight for all clinical and family medicine services of United Family Medicine, including Behavioral Health, Optometry dental, and all contracted medical services at United Family Medicine (UFM) and United Family Medicine Sibley. As a member of the clinic’s leadership team, the medical director will serve as an ex-officio member of the United Family Medicine board. The Medical Director also serves as a clinical provider. The Medical Director will establish, implement and maintain the highest standards of professional medical care for the patients at United Family Medicine.
United Family Medicine (the Clinic) is Federally Qualified Health Center/Clinic (“FQHC or Clinic”) with long standing ties to the West Seventh Street/Fort Road Community. The services of the Clinic are readily available to low income, uninsured and insured people of all ages and cultural backgrounds. It is our goal to make the Clinic an exceptional place for patients and staff.
Our Clinic hosts the teaching site of the United Family Medicine Residency Program which is part of a separate organization, United Hospital.
The Clinic provides the clinical experience necessary as part of the resident training of new Family Physicians. Residents practice under the supervision of the Clinic’s medical staff and other teaching physicians. This program is approved for 21 residency positions and offers specialized clinical training and education in family medicine. The residents are committed to providing the same excellent community-oriented family medicine that the Clinic patients have grown to expect.
We function as a team in our efforts to ensure that the Clinic provides quality patient care with caring, concerned physicians and support staff.
- Medical school graduate
- 5-10 years of patient care experience working in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics or Public Health required- preferably in community clinic setting
- At least 2 years of leadership in a medical clinic or similar organization
- Current licensure within the State
- Maintains a current DEA number
- Current CPR Certification
- Maintains CME requirements for continued medical practice in the State
Experience working with the Epic/Excellian system preferred but not required

Job Description: United Family Medicine has an immediate opening for a Full Time LPN or CMA/RMA (Certified / Registered Medical Assistant) to work days and evenings between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm and occasional Saturdays from 8am to 12pm at our large Family Practice Clinic. UFM is also a teaching site for the United Family Medicine Residency Program.
Position Details: Permanent Full Time position available. Some Evening hours and Saturdays required. Starting date: A.S.A.P. Salary: Depends on Experience.
Responsibilities: Rooming patients including taking vital signs, history, and preparing patient and equipment to be seen by the provider. Performs routine procedures including ekgs, audiograms, vision and hearing screenings, ear irrigations, TB skin tests, Spirometry and assisting with minor surgery and other procedures. Administers medications and vaccinations per provider order.
Qualifications: Candidates should be an LPN preferably three to five years of clinical or related nursing experience or a CMA/RMA, new graduates encouraged to apply. Prefer ambulatory care experience. American Heart Association BLS certification, RMA/CMA certification. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Job Description: United Family Medicine has an immediate opening for a full time Dental assistant to work in our dental clinic.
Responsibilities: This position is responsible to perform chair-side assisting of dentist, clinical support services and assigned related work under the direct supervision of the Dental Director.
Qualifications: 5 years of experience working in a dental office is required. Experience working with the Dentrix system preferred. Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply.

The hours for this position are: Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am -5:00 pm
This position will manage all patient triage over the telephone. Coordinate and collaborate with the Provider Teams, RN’s, Appointment Schedulers to resolve patient calls appropriately based on patient needs. Provide follow up calls; take messages and document in the Electronic Medical Record as needed. This could also include tracking paperwork and messages to monitor and maintain workflow and assure acuity needs are met.
Spanish Interpreter –
Fluency with written and verbal communication in Spanish
Full Time M-F with occasional evenings as needed.
United Family Medicine has an opening for a full-time Interpreter to assist clinic staff by facilitating cross-cultural communication for Spanish speaking patients of all ages.
This is a full-time position with full benefits that will provide language interpretation as patients interface with providers. This position will also provide written translation services. Position may include some evening hours and front desk support as needed.
