Clinic Operations Analyst  

This position works with clinical information systems such as provider scheduling systems, electronic health records, practice management systems, and all clinical information systems to  monitor, train and assist users with implementation and daily operations of these systems.     In conjunction with Allina Hospitals and Clinics, this position oversees training for upgrades and any new release of information stemming from any of the IS systems used by the clinic.     This position will also provide operational support and analysis to Senior Management to ensure efficient utilization of organizational resources to achieve fiscal and operational targets.  Strong emphasis on monitoring operations, engaging staff and identifying solutions and resolution of issues that adversely affect operations.

CMA/RMA or LPN

Job Description: United Family Medicine has an immediate opening for a Full Time LPN or CMA/RMA (Certified / Registered Medical Assistant) to work days and evenings between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm and occasional Saturdays from 8am to 12pm at our large Family Practice Clinic.  UFM is also a teaching site for the United Family Medicine Residency Program.

Position Details: Permanent Full Time position available. Some Evening hours and Saturdays required. Starting date: A.S.A.P. Salary: Depends on Experience.

Responsibilities:  Rooming patients including taking vital signs, history, and preparing patient and equipment to be seen by the provider. Performs routine procedures including ekgs, audiograms, vision and hearing screenings, ear irrigations, TB skin tests, Spirometry and assisting with minor surgery and other procedures. Administers medications and vaccinations per provider order.

Qualifications:  Candidates should be an LPN preferably three to five years of clinical or related nursing experience or a CMA/RMA, new graduates encouraged to apply.  Prefer ambulatory care experience. American Heart Association BLS certification, RMA/CMA certification. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Additional Information:  Physical Demands: Standing for long periods of time. Some bending, stooping and stretching. May be required to lift up to 30 lbs. Dental Assistant

UFM is a large family practice clinic and teaching site for the United Family Medicine Residency Program and now offers full dental services.

Job Description: United Family Medicine has an immediate opening for a full time Dental assistant to work in our dental clinic.

Responsibilities:  This position is responsible to perform chair-side assisting of dentist, clinical support services and assigned related work under the direct supervision of the Dental Director.  

Qualifications:  5 years of experience working in a dental office is required. Experience working with the Dentrix system preferred. Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply.

Director of Operations/Full time

The Director of Operations will hold the authority of Compliance Officer for UFM and is responsible for providing comprehensive operational management that follows and complies with all government/non-government regulatory standards and mandates by implementing strategies to keep UFM and all its entities informed and aware of new regulations and changes.  This position will use the mission and vision of the clinic to implement new services and strategic planning to promote UFM and all its services. Responsible for day to day operations, which includes but is not limited to; management of staff, facilities management, compliance and risk management.  This position will also work closely with HRSA (Human Resources and Service Administration) to perform and monitor UDS reporting and policy management.

Position requires a BA/BS degree in Healthcare Management, closely related degree or 10 plus years equivalent work experience.  Master’s degree preferred.

Compliance/HIPPA Certification required. Seven -Ten years management experience in ambulatory setting. Experience working in a Community Clinic environment preferred

Triage RN

The hours for this position are:    Monday  through Thursday from 8:00 am -5:00 pm

This position will manage all patient triage over the telephone.  Coordinate and collaborate with the Provider Teams, RN’s, Appointment Schedulers to resolve patient calls appropriately based on patient needs.  Provide follow up calls; take messages and document in the Electronic Medical Record as needed.  This could also include tracking paperwork and messages to monitor and maintain workflow and assure acuity needs are met.
