job description: United Family Medicine has an opportunity for a CMA/RMA or LPN. Rooming patients for variety of providers. 3-5 years’ Experience working in a clinic required. Provide high quality and efficient direct patient care services including rooming patients, completing vitals, administrative duties, stocking and cleaning and customer service. All positions are required to work 1-2 evenings a week until approx. 8:30pm and one Saturday a month from 8:00am to 1:00pm.

responsibilities: Rooming patients including taking vital signs, history, and preparing patient and equipment to be seen by the provider. Performs routine procedures including EKGs, audiograms, vision and hearing screenings, ear irrigations, TB skin tests, Spirometry and assisting with minor surgery and other procedures. Administers medications and vaccinations per provider order.
qualifications: Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse with 5 plus years’ experience in ambulatory care. LPN licensure required. CMA or RMA certificate needed or must receive within 6 months of hire date. Previous clinical experience is strongly desired. Spanish speaking applicants desired.
addition information: Physical Demands: Standing for long periods of time. Some bending, stooping and stretching. May be required to lift up to 30 lbs. Work is performed in a clinic office environment. Contact with staff, patients and outside agencies. Possible exposure to communicable disease and medical preparations common to clinic environment.
